Configure how long your services take and how much to charge.
Setting Service Duration
Duration determines how long the appointment will block on your calendar. Choose a duration that includes the actual service time.
Available durations: 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, 2.5 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours
Note: If you need cleanup or preparation time between appointments, use Buffer Time instead of adding it to the service duration.
Pricing Options
Skhedio supports flexible pricing options:
- Fixed Price – A set price for the service (e.g., $50)
- Starting From – Variable pricing that starts at a minimum (e.g., "From $30")
- Free – No charge for the service (great for consultations)
- Price on Request – Don't display a price; discuss with customer
Variable Duration Services
Some services may vary in length depending on the customer. For example, a haircut might take 30 minutes for short hair but 60 minutes for long hair.
Solution: Create separate service variations:
- "Women's Haircut - Short" (30 min, $40)
- "Women's Haircut - Medium" (45 min, $50)
- "Women's Haircut - Long" (60 min, $60)
